My head hurts... A lot of good debate here -- I wish we collectively knew just what's going on with the playcalling. I agree that Miles is ultimately responsible, but I don't understand how Crowton can be this bad. :geauxtige
That is the perfect point right there. Even when Jimbeaux was here, we didn't know what was going on because Les has never specified what is going on, and he has been asked, over and over and over again.
Honestly I dont care what he has to say. The last three seasons are far more telling then the empty promises. Ive lost all hope with Miles.
a friend turned me on crowton in 08. i said that there's no way the guy who was OC in 07 was calling all the plays after that year. i used crowton and genius in the same sentence in 07. it doesn't make sense to me that a guy could just become a bad coach overnight. but by 09 i had 180'ed to blaming most of the offensive ineptitude especially with playcalling to crowton. the more and more i see, the more the evidence backed my friend. that crowton eventually gets figured out and too often tries to get cute with his formations and looks.
So you want him to say who is calling the plays because you don't know. Someone asked him yesterday if Crowton was calling the plays. He confirmed that Crowton was calling the plays. It's pretty cut and dry.
There is no way he came up with the word multiplicity on his own. Someone has to be helping him write this stuff.
Everywhere he has gone the QB play and yards per game has regressed year after year. It's not hard to figure out what's going on here.
