on a down note, my bosox are in big trouble if they can't compensate for the loss of varitek.........still only 2 out of the east though

 

Add ones like JD Drew, Klesko (for while), Lofton

Maddux pitched another scoreless game. Now that everyone is betting on the Dodgers, they will screw it up. I, for one, hope the Rockies win the NL West.

 

manny's hit streak stopped at 26 games but sox close to within 1 of the damn yankees

 

not only a scoreless game but he allowed 2 hits in the 1st inning - from then on he retired the next 22 batters in a row (through 8 innings).

 

It's been a good weekend to be a Cardinals fan. Oh man, thank you 'cards for getting me through this final weekend before college football!
