So throwing cups and cursing are the legacy you want to leave behind huh? Forgive me it I think that is stupid. Again...I don't have a problem with having a good time but at some point in infringes on others who don't feel like getting hit in the back of the head with a cupful of ice or having profanities screamed in their ear. Why do you think the stricter law enforcement and the monotoring with cameras came about? Because they wanted to keep you from enjoying the game and having a good time? No. It was because the unrulyness was causing problems for others who want to enjoy the game also.

I will be the first to say that the excitement and electricity in the stadium begins and ends with the student section. Most of you stand the entire game and make Tiger Stadium one of the loudest and best environments in college football. But you can enjoy the game, be as loud and crazy as you want...hell I even let most of you drunk ones enjoy yourselves even though you get kind of silly. Do it with class...that is all most of us are saying. Let your legacy be that you carried on the best environment in college football without being a jerk about it.

Where did you get from that statement that I wanted to leave a legacy of throwing cups? Please don't confuse my words. The point was to explain that things that disrespect and hurt others will always happen, but they are not intended to.

    A message to all students....

We, the members of Tiger Band, truly appreciate it when we finish playing a song and we get chants of "Tiger Rag... Tiger Rag." It really makes it feel like we are really supported by our peers. Also, marching to and from the stadium, all of the wonderful comments we get from students at a time when we cannot even respond back. Thank you, so very much for making me proud to support this university and bring other songs that the student section seems to love so much. Please, I encourage you all to chant "F*** you Tiger Band" at the next game. Your message will certainly get across and we would certainly start to play Tiger Rag then.

OK...understood. But common sense also says that actions may offend others and maybe I shouldn't do these things.

Is this something happening now? That's just sad...

I can place an accidental elbow to the head if needed.

I'm sure it does happen but I have never heard a student say something like that. Just about everyone I know was upset yall stopped playing Tiger Rag but none of them are stupid enough to insult such a great band.

You're using the logic of a child to defend being childish, amigo. We don't want your respect, we want your sagacity.

And thank you for that sermon.

I call "B*ll S**t" on this one. You know better than to claim some, alot, or the majority of students do this. You may have heard this a few times. And you need to start appreciating that the fans are hollering even anything at you. You are a band dork everywhere else in this country, but you are part of a team that we as fans and students have backed verbally and physically because we appreciate you.

Don't you judge students because some desperately want to hear Pregame and Tiger Rag. When they stop screaming for you to play anything is when you will have the right.

    -"do..do..do..do..dooo.do. A**hole. A**hole"

Just when I thought there was a sign of maturity you come back and strengthen the stereotype....way to go. :nope:

Was it the jingle? :) I thought it was funny.

It just bothers me when they complain so much. They forget that there are 98,000 fans cheering for them and they don't appreciate it. Who cares if someone is excited to hear a song. I think most of us would love the oppurtunity to be in there position; to be able to move an entire stadium with a blow of a horn.
