1. I wish this announcement would have been made a week ago before the R-Kansas game....may have been a different outcome. Oh well, we'll win tonight for sure:)

    :miles: FEAR THE HAT!:miles:

  2. This is best-case scenario for LSU. Short term and long term. If a deal did get worked out to keep him, hats off to Skip.:tigereye:

    Fear the mother effin' hat!:miles:
  3. ESPN is sticking to it's guns.

They are still saying Miles to Mich with Tenuta as DC.
  4. If he is announcing this, then this press conference before the game is a great time to do so.

    :milesmic: :miles: :milesmic: :miles: :milesmic:
    Fear the hat
  5. If coach Miles stays, ESPN is going to look quite foolish.

LSU coach Les Miles will meet with the media at the Georgia Dome before the SEC Championship Game to announce that he is staying at LSU, a source told ESPN.com.

LSU associate athletic director Herb Vincent said Saturday morning that ESPN reports that Miles had accepted the head coaching position at Michigan were "inaccurate." Miles agreed to a contract extension Saturday with LSU
  7. If true, I wonder who Kirk Herbstreit and the "sports authority" ESPN were talking to?

  8. 1 person likes this.
  9. This kinda feels like the Rich Rodriguez debacle from last year.
  10. well the team should be pumped up for this one. hell even if it is just a ploy to pump the team up, its still better than them not having a coach or DC for the SECCG. if he does leave(knock on wood)...who is our coach? Crowton? SKIP!?
