1. I thought I had it all figured out! I went to the website, and pulled up the photos of their Tigers...to try and guess which one he was...based on the tidbits given in the article about his unique stripes, and his current size. Anywho, eventually, I right clicked on a specific tiger, then hit "save as"...and when the file name popped up, it had the name of the tiger I had clicked on. It wasn't Roscoe, so I went thru every single tiger photo they had, and never did find Roscoe. I wasn't disappointed, though...as it was neat to put names with the faces of the beautiful cats they have there.

If you decide to try it...let it be known that Tigger and Pongo are my favorites.(of the ones they have photos of...of course, Roscoe/Mike VI is my favorite!) Guess I'll just have to wait like the rest of you until they release a photo.
  2. yep.. you and I were doin the same thing. They're on to us.. :hihi:

They still have his name on their list though, just no photos.
  3. just out of curiousity, is anyone other than me planning to make a donation or "adopt" one of their tigers in honor of our new mike?
  4. I thunk about it...definitely a worthy cause. If we go undefeated and win the NC this year, I'm selling my house and donating the proceeds to GCOI! :thumb: :crystal:
  5. :hihi:

  7. Sounds like he can start in the secondary right away. Once he gets up to over 600 pounds he might be better suited at defensive end. I think Coach Pelini will love his ability to blitz the QB. Can't wait to see him. :thumb: :geauxtige
  8. Heh, I searched the code yesterday as soon as I knew the tiger's name. There are a lot of pics that are saved as "pic00784" etc. instead of names, so it could be that we've seen a pic of him but don't know it yet.

In any case, I hope they release a picture of him soon!

And, OMG, almost 700 pounds eventually? That is AWESOME. I have to go search online for big tigers now...

Okie, I'm donating and will adopt a few for Christmas presents for family when that time of the year rolls around. We tend to give each other small gifts along with a donation to a charity the family member would appreciate or supports. I know my parents and siblings -- all HUGE LSU fans -- wouldn't mind helping the organization that raised Mike VI, and I hope to get the ball rolling and have them give too.
  9. Tigers can attack in multiple ways. First, full frontal blitz:

Second, when facing an impenetrable line, get creative:

  10. Thanks for sharing. Great tiger video's.

The first full frontal blitz demonstrates a blitz perfectly by Mike VI.

The second youtube must be a Bama fan taking a video of one of Mike's relatives. He won't do that again.
