I doubt it, this animal is treated ethically. Bengal Tigers are endangered in the wild. Zoo and animal park tigers are helping to preserve the species. LSU just built a 2 million dollar habitat that is the finest in the nation. They will definitely get another Tiger from the many zoo-bred cubs.
red, i sure hope you are right about peta. i know you are right about the other. zoo-bred cubs cannot live in the wild so for one to go to the best and most natural habitat available is the best scenerio for it. and considering the numbers are dwindling in the wild, this is a way to preserve the species. i hope peta can see that, but i am afraid that sometimes (with a lot of groups, not just peta) blind ideological ideas cloud judgement and reality.

As mentioned earlier, there were 29 Natonal Championships during his reign, (1 Football, 5 Baseball, 23 Track M&W). Mike V's tenure was the most successful period in Tiger sports. Also includes 5 Basketball Final 4's (1 Men & 4 Women). I miss him already.
I just read all of that crud at the La Teche bulletin board. I feel sorry for those hate filled envious cowards.
