very sad day :bncry: :bncry: my 7 year old will be upset. When we are on campus her first thing she wants to do is go by his cage. All her stuffed tigers are named Mike.

There was a story in the advocate a couple months ago about Mike's old age, and him retiring pretty soon. It was definitely his time.
According to The Advocate, Mike died at 2:23 this morning. The Vet school will hold a presser at 2 pm today.
I was at the lsu basketball game when he was first introduced to the tiger fans. RIP Mike V. One hell of a run for the tiger that was with me most of my life as a tiger fan.
