i equate his existance with paris hilton. thats the kind of life he lives. pretty crappy id say.

but if there is a legitimate benefit to tiger conservation then im ok with it.

btw. no way lsu is one of the top vet schools. maybe top half, maybe. good place for equine surgeons to train, though.

im no leftwinger either, but no fan of the gop. heck, i kill animals for a living.

Just guessing here, bet you've never laid eyes on said $3million dollar complex they just built for one friggin tiger.

The negative and uninformed implication about the way our school treats/cares for our beloved mascot at this time of loss smacks of serious douchebaggery.

"...what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul."

have you seen it? id think an expert like yourself would know they didnt "just build" it.

i didnt write anything about the way lsu treated mike. i assume they treated with great responsibility and love. anything less would make it criminal.

youd better get back to class, boy.

Yes, at least once a month. Your turn.

    Oh yeah, typo on "existance"

Better a classy boy than a douche.

    Let's make a deal.

Those opposed to a Mike VI, don't go to LSU sporting events. Your absence will be neither missed, nor even noticed for that matter.

I assume that the difference between a wild Bengal Tiger and a Bengal Tiger born and raised in captivity has been explained on this thread already. It's something that the PETA folk are not capable of comprehending, but that's not surpising. You know, the relatives of your dog sparky were "wild" at one point as well.

R.I.P. Mike V, my daughter and I are honored to have had the opportunity to be in your presence!:tigerhead

alright, enough with the name calling. We are all entitled to our opinions. Gumbo, considering that only 27 schools in the US have vet medicine programs, you have to be good and I assure you, we are up there.

22nd out of 27/28 accredited schools but that's not where my ire was raised.

sure, but it everyone here has the same opinion. so i got ticked after a poster rants on a post without understanding it.

im sure lsu is a good vet school as far as the education it gives (not relative to others), but from what i understand there is no way it is as good as--in general, of course--(of the top of my head) UCDavis, PennSt, TxAM, UGA, UF, Tufts, Colorado. all schools have specialties, though, so if youre gonna do a residency you can throw this list out.

Furduknfish, you are way out of line. This is not a smack forum. No need for namecalling.
