1. I think statist is more accurate. Neither Russia or Germany were anything but countries run by psychopathic homocidal thugs. Hitler and Stalin saw each other for what they were enemies till death.
You can say the Soviet Union came from a communist/socialist birth and Hitler's Germany birth was supported by the military but both Hitler and Stalin were wolves among sheep. They both understood what was needed to galvanize their population and used it to build their position. When they got full power they both were ruthless in eliminating any rivals. Both countries were run from the top down by a small cadre. They may have used different terms but there was little difference between them in reality.

  3. Penn and Teller's old cable show "BullSh!t" outed PETA on stuff like this years ago. That series was loaded with tongue-in-cheek, humorous gotcha moments, but their episode on PETA was sobering.

  5. Of course, but Stalin was a left wing genocidal megalomaniac and Hitler was a right wing genocidal megalomaniac. They still define the bat-shit crazy line on both ends of the spectrum.

  8. That tiger lives better than some people. So it's no different than going to the zoo they should release all of those animals into the wild. It's no different.
  9. They want that too.
