So what do you guys all think of this game? College Football News is calling this the most important game in college football history! I think Ohio State will win this game!
I think OSU wins it. But to say it's the most important game in college football history is crazy! LSU vs USC would easily be the most important game in college football history!
I like the Buckeyes in this one- Troy Smith is a playmaker. Don't let the media hype distract you, remember what they did to USC last year....Greatest team.... Definitely the most important one to this point as far as which Big 10 team goes to NC but every week there are games just as important to teams, in every conference, everyweekend. Not trying to take away from it- I'm anxious to see it too but LSU/Ole Miss is more important to me. Good luck, it's there for OS y'all just have to want it bad, play well, and it's all good. :thumb:
Big game no doubt about it. It's the most important game in the rivalry's history, but not in NCAA history.
Unless a blow-out happens in this game, the loser is not likely to drop farther than #5 anyway. I think I'll have to pull for Michigan. I just don't like the program Tressell runs at Ohio State. From Katzenmoyer to Clarett...there's been some MAJOR "shady" happenings reguarding players at "The" Ohio State University. Guys like Tressell shouldn't be rewarded for their constant balance-beam walk against NCAA infractions.
Katzenmoyer was under Cooper. But Tressell balanced him out with Craig Krenzel who was like a Phi Beta Kappa in Molecular Biology.
Didn't say all Buckeyes....just most. I didn't like Tressell when he had Youngstown St. under the microscope.
Right now it's probably the game of the century but thats not really saying much. It is so great that one of the best rivalries in cfb has a #1 vs #2 in the last game of the season. Hopefully the games lives up to the hype although i can't see Troy Smith and Teddy Ginn losing to UM. Antonio Pittman is really underrated and will be a big part in determining whether OSU wins but it'll be Smith and Ginn that deliver the daggers to UM. Ya gotta trust in the sweatervest.
Just goes to show how some of these dumbass writers are trying to hype up this game more than necessary. No doubt about it, it’s a big game. But, most important game in the history of college football? That's just Asinine! Now, if Rutgers plays OSU in the championship game, and OSU chokes and get whoop – that would be the most important game in the history of college football cuz everything will be ruin after that…the BCS will live on forever, no chance of a playoff – ever - and everyone will forever hate OSU for choking…OSU will be booted down to AA league...you get the idea. Btw, OSU should beat Michigan by 10.
I don't see how anyone could ever call one game the most important game in college football history............unless maybe during a certain game they figured out how to use replay effectively. :yelwink2:
