For starters, I think his size hurts him on the pro level. It also doesn't help that Bledsoe has no time to throw the ball cause of lack of protection from the O-line. Not to mention that Moulds is the go to guy on that team and when your go to guy isn't getting many balls thrown his way, you know Reed is gonna be dormant. I've always thought that the best way to build a solid team is starting from the O-line and D-line. Then work on skill players. Obtain a solid O-line and a mediocre running back and WRs become good. Same with the D-line, they help your DBs to shine. It seems that most teams these days work on getting the flashy skilled players and overlook the importance of solid lines.(see the Saints) Saban seems to have the concept of obtaining solid linemen and that's what I really like about him.(see also the Patriots)
