Miami is getting alot of love from the media. They have played 3 decent teams. Fla. St loss BC Win VT Win How does that make them so dominating. VT always craters late in the season. Was a Tenn game for us. No emotion. Herbstreit has turned into a LSU basher. Pretty much a SEC basher now i think about it. Penn St. is a good team but they can be beat. They are our BCS crasher along with Miami.
I think it's just how badly they trounced VT...and they had some pretty decent injuries coming into the game. VT was getting a lot of love as a possible spoiler (w/ SOS over UT or USC) and Miami summarily destroyed them. And who doesn't love a feel good story about da UUUUUUUUUU?
Right, any time you go to the #3 team in the country's home field and stomp them you deserve a little "love" from the media. LSU just needs to keep winning and let the media swap spit with who ever they want.
. Agreed. I've never been a Uthug fan, but this was a big time win and at VT. It helped define the 2005 BCS season, much like Texas going in and winning at OSU, 25-22. (Can you imagine what you'd be posting on the forum if OSU had beaten Texas... and Texas, PSU, OSU, Miami, VT and LSU all had on loss now???) Give Miami credit... it was a big, big win. Your game this week is big time... win it and you'll want some media love 2.
