1. And I thought those two words were synonymous in Miami.

I guess the promotion for the next home game against VT will be "Hug a ThUg". :dis:  :hihi:
  2. It is hard to put down in words how damaging this fight is to the fabric of the game of football. I coach 7-8 yrs old tackle football and my kids were talking about that fight and how cool it was/looked. Our coaching staff addressed the team on why that was wrong and unacceptable. We told our kids if they participated in a brawl like that, they would be removed from the team.

Pretty sad that this has to be discussed with 1st and 2nd graders. Just want to thank Miami and FIU for disgracing a sport that I have played and coached for 25+ years.

I can't believe any AD or coach would allow that, much less the NCAA. But then again, it's all about money once you get to the college level. Even more distubing on how Miami has basically done nothing as far as disciplining the guilty. A 1 game suspension for all but one participant. After hearing the Pres of Miami on a phone IV this morning on ESPN Radio, she basically admitted that she only view the brawl from the field level Sat night and didn't want to watch the tapes afterwards, because she didn't want to get rouled up.

1 Game Suspension..... to be served against 0-5 Duke.... Ironic that the following week they play GA Tech and all but 1 player will be available for that.

To quote Doc Holiday from Tombstone,"I don't know, should I hate him...No, I'm sure of it, I hate him".

  3. Doc holiday is like lsu,"i'll be your huckleberry!"in the peach bowl fights
  4. I almost spat coke all-over my car when it came out she didn't even look at the tape.
