Anybody see Flynn's statistics? He looked pretty good in the game. What did everybody think of our backup QB? Would we be in good shape if JaMarcus went down?

I thought he looked awesome. He really placed the ball nicely and made good decisions. But he was doing something weird with his head. It seemed that he was looking at one receiver and then would quickly look another way and throw to someone else.

ESPN had these statistics. 100% completion percentage, 139 yards off of only 7 throws & 3 of those for touchdowns... pretty good, even if it was North Texas.

He looked grea against NT in the 4th quarter, I wish Miles would give him a series or two against better competition and earlier in the game to see how he does. There were a couple of games this season where he could have seen action earlier that would have told us more, but he did look great last night.

even though his stats where awesome i still think there is a big difference between him and JR. i posted more about it on the game thread.

Flynn played GREAT... and I was thrilled that he played SO great...

    BUT...

His WR was WIDE open every play

except for the first td pass to XC. That was a terrible throw and decision. XC bailed him out by just stopping and jumping over the 3 defenders that were around and then just using his speed and power to get into the endzone.
