It won't be all brains...he and the GM hate each other.

I wish I could say that Marty called a good game, but alas, they really didn't. The Chargers are going to be absurdly good if they pick up a WR and CB.

I don't know...with the talent the Chargers have, they need to be ready to maximize it next year. I'm not sure they have the luxury of having an off year.

I was out eating, watching the updates on my phone. Unless I'm mistaken, didn't they attempt that FG on 2nd down? If thats the case, why the hell not take a shot at a 6-7 yd out to get a little closer?!

Young QB, LT has a few more years, and a pretty young Def. One more year of Marty Ball, to get a coach WHO KNOWS how to win the big one with a great defense and a running game.

Unless of course they have Saban on hold already

Yep. I posted this already. It made no sense to try a 56 yarder with the young kid. Too much pressure. Earlier in the game, he didn't allow him to try a 48 yarder. So why the hell you think he will make a 56 yarder? You have to get 6-7 more yards and get him closer. Typical Schottenheimer game management. And boy oh boy that silly challenge he made.

If the Saints lose next week, I'm not going to open the thread titled "Payton is a horrible coach".

I wouldn't either. This is Payton's first year as a NFL head coach and he has the Saints in the NFC championship game. I said the SAINTS! This has to be one of the best coaching performances of all-time in any sport, win or lose Sunday. This is not the most talented team by any means. But they play as a team and that's because of their coach. Yeah, he makes mistakes like any other coach. But I can handle that because he plays to win unlike Chittenheimerdink who plays not to lose. That's Chit has such a HORRIBLE playoff record.
