Am I the only one here who just really, really likes Richt?

What other coach would tell his whole team to celebrate in the endzone after a TD against Florida?

What other coach would come out for the coin toss in red uni's before ripping them off before the kick to play to the "black out" crowd?

It just seems like he always does his best to maximize the amount of fun his players and fans are having.

Richt is a really classy guy. He was constantly pumping LSU in 2003 for the title game and I will always remember that. Even losing to him the next few years didn't hurt so bad.
But these actions are actually the opposite of what the team has normally been like under him. Sounds like he was maybe on the hotseat a little bit and wanted to loosen up his team to play better. I like it, i'm all for letting the players have as much fun as they can while still playing at a high level.

Yeah he just seems like a nice guy for whatever reason. Although if he manages to beat us in the SECCG I will hate him with a passion

Not to worry Dwayne, it'll be Tenn...not GA.

That was a classic move on his part. Even on TV you could sense the electricity flowing in the stands, the team... palatable.

I think it may be a bit early to be confident in that. True, UT holds its own destiny in it's hand with Vandy in Knoxville and playing UK on the road. UGA, on the other hand, has UK in Athens and they are through with SEC play.

It's ironic in a way that UK still has a say in who wins the East.

Who do you think has the easier road to ATL?

and before the season started, rich brooks said that one of the goals for his team was to be a deciding factor in the east. looks like he accomplished it.

I should point out that I like Mark Richt and I thought it was awesome, the way they came out in red uni's and then ripped them off.

I agree with Terry here, UT and UK both have been up and down this year.
I almost think they both could lose another game.
I think its possible for UK to beat UT but I say no way they beat Georgia at home.

I predict it will be Georgia just like I picked Georgia over Florida.
BTW, I think Georgia is overlooked
