Why is it that he didn't make first-team all sec when he averaged 19.7 points a game, when lofton made it, and he only averaged 16 points a game? Did lofton play better defense or something?:crystal::geaux:

I don't think he played the whole season.

    He played the whole season.

    Missed 1 game for injury.

Lofton made the team on name alone.

SEC awards are based on production during conference games, thus Lofton being there -- as he would not have been if it were for the beginning of the season. I guess they thought the other players did better during that time. I think Thornton is a 1st team guy but it is hard to pull one of the other guys off the team.

    Here is the list:

thornton's 30+ pt games and 40 pt game all came in SEC play.

they factor in how well the team did. so you have to have several from MSU and UT. foster is a no brainer.

the one i question is bradley. if anyone from uk gets 1st team it should be patterson.

    gordon should have been POY.

surprised that GT wasnt unanimous all D, but he has no common stats to back him up.

cjohnson should have been all D before hill---that was on reputation from last year.

what happened to MT also happened to henderson and carter.

I actually agree with the move, to be 100% honest.

They had numerous terrible losses in the non-conference. To be 2nd in the East is a feat.
