Major scheduling announcement?

    What's up with the Lady Tigers making a "major scheduling announcement"? Anybody have a clue what it's about...or who it involves?

    it is announcing we are playing La Tech in the N.O. Arena next year

    I think the announcement has to more with the proceeds from the game going to katrina relief than it has to with playing La tech

    A little of both, really. They want the Katrina Relief aspect to be a 5-year series against nationally ranked opponents, that will attract a big TV deal. As for Tech, its the first time they'll play in the regular season since 1990.

    World Cup Soccer
    Professional golf
    Recently completed Stanley Cup finals
    Horse racing

    id agree. WC being the best of those three because i actually watch it. the other three dont even get a split second of my viewing when channel surfin.
