In watching this game, LSU stands an excellent chance at bringing a national championship trophy for the first time in LSU basketball history, men or women. Possibly the best point guard in the nation, the best overall player in Augustus, and the best freshman in the nation in 6' 6" Fowles. A PG, a scorer, and a dominating center. Seems like a pretty good recipe for success. Throw in vets like Tillie Willis and Wendlyn Jones and this team is primed to make their run this year.
