1. "get in the game."

tack's line cant be a good omen.

    assists---0
    turnovers---3
    fgs------1-6

i guess its not surprising that tack didnt get much pt. gt seemed to play well (at point i guess).

    assists---5
    turnovers---4
    steals----5
    fgs----2-4
    boards--9

i hope ea sports coach is wrong when he said "they [LSU] are really gonna miss darrel mitchell."
  2. What in the world are you talking about? NBA live?
  3. I was going to start a thread on this last night....

The outside shooting was terrible. Glen Davis looked timid and, I hate to say this, but the weight loss makes him less effective around the goal.

Magnum Rolle is nowhere near the "second coming of Tyrus". He simply doesn't have the leaping ability or the helpside awareness, not to mention his attitude and motor.

Glen Davis' losing so much weight is definitely a bad thing. #50 dominated him the entire game, and Glen was forced to take bad outside shots and start his offense from the top of the key as long as #50 was on him. He looked intimidated by #50.

I wasn't impressed by anything I saw from BB or Rolle tonight.

I had to eat my words on Dameon Mason. I told a group of old fellas behind me that he was a slasher (and not much of a shooter) and he proceeded to drain a couple of nice deep jumpers.

Tasmin is continuing to do what he does, more of the same here.
  4. There was an exhibition game in the PMAC last night.
  5. Thats what I was worried about. His weight didnt bother me very much last year.
  6. i never really gave much thought about it, but it might not have been the best time for gd to lose so much weight. haslem did it, but after college and he was able to adjust his game in europe. perhaps its too simplistic to think that his touch and effectiveness in the paint wouldnt be affected. i would have thought that the weight change was gradual enough, but maybe not.
  7. The thing is, his weight is not a factor at the college level. He can play at the weight he was at and be very effective (see last season). However, he would not be very effective in the pros at that weight and at the level of mobility he was at last year. So he could either lose the weight now and adjust his game in College or try to do it in Europe or the pros. He opted to do it in College. In the short run it will hurt his game but in the long run it is the only chance he has at making it in the pros. IMO.
  8. Don't be too quick to discount the talent on the EA Sports team though. They usually play pretty well. They definitely have age and maturity in their favor, that's for sure.
  9. I would hope that a first team All-American would not be dominated by a journeyman center. Just saying.
  10. Oh, ok... I just didn't get the EA Sports reference...
