1. I don't know if there is ever a good time for us to play LSU, but I think I had rather play ya'll if you had beat Tenn. rather than losing to Tenn. I have a feeling that this is going to be one angry group of Tigers this weekend. If you had won, maybe there would have been the over-confidence factor, but now that's gone. I just hope the Dawgs make the game interesting and competitive. We don't have much of an offense, so we are going to have to have a big day from our defense and hope ya'lls offense screws up a lot. Ya'll win, probably something like 35-10. Guess that's better than 52-0 like last year. We have definitely improved since last year, but still have a long way to go. Just for the record, LSU is my second favorite team. Love the passion and fervor that LSU fans have. Wish we had more of that. If you're coming to Starkville, be safe.:)
  2. Thank You for the nice post.
You guys might've improved from last year but we obviously haven't.
You guys did beat Florida last year and with the way things are right
now I'm not expecting to much from our team.

They could come out angry but if they don't execute and the coaches blame the
players then I don't see how it could make any difference.

Be-lated congratulations on your win over Florida last year.
I was blown away when I heard about it.
One of my favorite bowl games was MSU vs Texas ATM, I believe it was those 2 teams in the snow in Shreveport.
  3. MSU has enough of a defense to keep the game close. Croom really tries to get the best from the players he has. I would take a coach with Croom's enthusiasm anyday of the week. He demands discipline from his players. Jackie left the program in shambles. It is going to take Croom about 3 years to get it right. MSU's program is moving in the right direction.

Les got a lesson on coaching in the SEC. Hopefully he will learn from it. The only bad thing is the defense changed schemes in the second half to what didn't work in the previous game. After about two drives it should have been changed. It wasn't.

I think the MSU vs LSU game will be a lot closer than what LSU fans would like.

  4. This will be a character game for LSU and coaches.

A road game after a short week of practice...

Coming off a very emotional loss...

A defense that was physically worn out...

The MSU game will tell me more about this team than the loss last night.
  5. Tennessee game is over and all the bitching in the world won't give us another shot to win it. So to borrow a phrase from Saban "It's time to move on... GOT IT?". MSU, you're next. Bring on the Dawgs!
  6. How things have changed in a years time.
I'm not so sure its a character game.
What I mean is that I'm not really sure if MSU is that good or bad, not to
    take anything away from them.

I think the Vandy and Florida games will tell all.
I never thought the MSU or Vandy game would mean this much! :dis:
  7. Even Saban gave the team and fans 24hrs before moving on, come back at midnight and repost your Saban quote.
  8. Maybe you should give the new coach that advice.
Btw Saban is gone and we aren't that good, got it?

Thats all good and all when you have a good team, right now
we don't, its all on the coaches IMO.
