Auburn had four or five keys players on defense who missed the LSU game because of injury or suspension. Two of Auburn's best linebackers, Tray Blackmon and Kevin Sears, were suspended for the LSU game. One of Auburn's best defensive backs, Patrick Lee, missed the game because of a stomach virus. Another one of Auburns best defensive backs, Jonathan Wilhite, injured his hamstring in the second quarter and missed the rest of the game. Despite all of the absences they had on defense, Auburn still held LSU's offense to three points. Can you imagine how much Auburn defense would have dominated LSU offense if all those players had played? If all those players had played against LSU, Auburn would have totally shut out LSU, and LSU would have probably only had six or seven first downs and less than 200 yards total offense for the entire game. LSU should consider themselves lucky that all of those Auburn defensive players were either injured or suspended for this game.

Not a good first post dude. The game would've been close no matter who Auburn put on the field. Hard fought game between two great teams and you only cheapen it by saying LSU was lucky. LSU, with the loss, should still be a top 10 team. It's a shame that the SEC has to beat up on itself like it does.

You made up for the missing players with the 4 or 5 refs playing on your team. Without the refs you lose the game pure and simple.

If we have all those players playing in the game, LSU never scores no matter what call the referees make. LSU only scored three points against Auburn's defense even with all those players missing.

    Keep telling yourself that, idiot.

Funny how you don't have the "stones" to show up on here before the game but once you win, in the closes played game of all the games yesterday, you all of a sudden pump up your chest and want to be a big shot loud mouth.

Like I said, grow a set, come here and talk your crap BEFORE next year's game...You get more respect that way, pansie.

We keep saying that every team has good fans, and a-hole fans. Clearly, auburfan1 is a prime example of an a-hole fan. :dis:

What an embarrassment for the good aubie posters we have here.
