LSU coach Les Miles said both senior SS Jessie Daniels (hamstring) and senior WR-PR Craig Davis (hamstring) have a "legitimate chance" to play on Saturday against Ole Miss. Both players missed the Alabama game, but LSU also got strong performances from reserve SS Craig Steltz and WRs Dwayne Bowe and Early Doucet in their absence.[/FONT]

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica]Miles isn't quite as confident about the return of LB Darry Beckwith, who suffered a sprained ankle early in the Alabama game. Miles said Beckwith's available likely won't be decided until game. If Beckwith can't play he will be replaced by true freshman Jacob Cutrera, who made eight tackles last week.[/FONT]

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica]Freshman TB Keiland Williams, who has played well the past two weeks and ran 79 yards on nine carries against Alabama, is back and ready to go after sustaining a minor ankle injury last week.[/FONT]

Sucks Beckwith is pretty much out, but it's nice to see that everyone else is getting better/ready for the rest of the season...
