Not trying to steal anyone's thunder, but I've been working on some backgrounds also... Figured I would keep all of mine in this same thread. Let me know what you think.

If you don't mind a nitpick, however, I have one for you!

I don't love the way that you have the date displayed. You have a zero in front of the day and year, but not the month, for one thing. And personally, I'd prefer "January 7, 2008" instead of the numerical-only version.
