LSU fans in Destin

  1. Alright I'm on here to applaud Tiger fans. I have been to Destin beach in Florida two times in the past month and both times stayed in the same hotel. Anyways, the first time I visited I came down with an Auburn fan. Saw about 35 or so LSU fans, and most were in a group so add a little more to that number. Anyways, we'd be walking on the beach at about 12-1 a.m. and a group of people would yell "Where ya'll from" so we'd go over and of course it be a group of LSU fans drinking. The only group of people on the beach that late. The first trip we met 3 different groups of Tiger fans on the beach partyin it up. So I went back last week with a Bama fan and almost every night we'd meet a different group of people partying on the beach and they'd either be from Baton Rouge or New Orleans. They'd invite us over to party with them every time. Definitely rubbed it in the face of my friend who likes to say "200 Saban" got to let 'em know how real College football fans do it.

    Anyways, the point of this thread is to prove how widespread and great us Tiger fans really are. You guys made me proud these past two beach trips. :) :geauxtige

  2. Had a similar experience at Disney World in January.......met A LOT of LSU fans. As soon as we'd make eye contact, we'd yell, "GEAUUUUXXX TIIIIGERS! Once, I heard a group of girls say it before I had even noticed them. Salty had told me, before we went, that LSU owned Disney World. :wink:

  4. No doubt. I was down there for the week of the 4th and new I was 'home' when I saw the giant LSU flag being flown on the beach. That was the gathering spot for us every day.
  5. It is the same on Navarre beach as well. I go three times a year and we a represented more than any other fans everytime.

  6. I just left Destin and only saw two families of LSU fans. Some barners and even some ol sis fans. But more Bama than anything else. Guess it depends on the color of the glasses.

  9. Purple and gold colored glasses. Life is so much better looking throught them (honest!) !
  10. He said he was on the beach at midnight. You had already been in bed for three hours so you missed the rest.
