What's great is that AU's best chance of getting to the SECC is having Bummer beat LSU and then AU beating Bummer. AU fans will be pulling for Bummer! So basically all of Alabama will have their dreams crushed in two weeks with the AU fans getting a second dosage. Couldn't get any sweeter for an LSU fan!
Bama and LSU control their own destinies right now. We could not ask for anything more. If we had Ally Broussard, I'd be very confident. However, Bama lost Prothro, and, I believe that Prothro is just as outstanding an athlete as is Ally Broussard, so that's a wash. It is sad that neither of these young men will suit up for the game.
Mike Gottfried said on an ESPN show last night that Bama would win the game but LSU had the better talent. He said it twice. Interpret amongst yourselves. Leave me out of it!
LSU's offense clicks better on the road typically... Now, I know the level of defenses has been bad, but I think we will be fine
I don't know why I'm saying this but I'm more comfortable with this game being played at Bama than I am at Tiger Stadium. Go figure.
I bet you are... According to http://store.ncsports.com/database/ncdb_query.php?cook=1 LSU is 8-3 playing in T-Town and B'ham (since '80) and Bama is 10-3-1 in Baton Rouge... According to the site database, the '95 game was at a netural site. Don't remember that one??? Is that correct? I do remember the last UA/LSU that I went to in 2001 in Tuscaloosa. We had seats on row 5 so we didn't see too much of the game, and that was good for us.
