Personally I just don't think he's comfortable with the fans and media yet...and even with the team. They aren't his players, he hasn't proven himself to the fans yet, and the media ripped him pretty good for those OSU press conferences, so I'm sure that mad ehim a little over aware of his actions. He's just taking it slow, no need to do something really stupid at a press conference and risk the fans taking it the wrong way and causing unneeded criticism. I can see a big difference between his first post game PC and his latest. He's much more at ease, more willing to talk about specific play calls, reasons, etc. He's not at the point yet where he can blast players and fans and get away with it for long. As he gains in influence, you'll see some differences.
Well, I certainly think more of Miles, having seen that. I'm glad to know he's got that grit in him. I wanna see him fired up like that. I agree with philters take on it. We'll see it sooner or later. That's a good thing to have in the SEC. But the Godzilla thing was just ridiculously lame. I put it in the same echelon as the corn dog phenomenon. If it was funny, I'd laugh, even though it was directed at LSU's headcoach. But it wasn't, so I didn't, and probably never will.
actually directed towards OSU coach. I'd like to see some fire like that during the in game press conference's.
Until we find another guy with b*** that Emmert had, the LSU Board will continue to ruin the LSU athletic program. We will have accept medocrity until we as alumni and fans stand up to these dirtbags.
Expecting to be a top ten program like USC, Texas, and Florida State is outlandish :nope: :nope: :dis: It is fans like you that the LSU Board feeds off of by hiring coaches on the cheep. We can have 7 to 8 win seasons and fans like you are satisfied, not this fan. With saban winning 2 sec titles in 5 years proves that LSU can a proud top ten program. I guess having expecations is the minority around here.
Saban had two 8 win seasons. It's perfectly fine to have expectations, but I think it's reasonable to give this coaching staff a little time to settle into a whole new program. Is it not?
