  4. The best music ever written for a TV cartoon series - the theme for Jonny Quest - was never played correctly. Composer Hoyt Curtin got tired of being teased by his orchestra - specifically the trombone section - about writing music that was "too easy." So he wrote a trombone part for JQ that was simply impossible to play as written; the slide positions couldn't be reached quickly enough. The final version - linked below without all of the sound effects that were overlayed in the opening video - was the best they could do.
