That's BS. Gruden won in his first year and went down hill. Coker won the NC at Miami in his first year and went down hill. Miles has not only sustained the success at LSU but has improved LSU to being a consistant Top 5 team. He's been here three years; enough with the Saban crap. I just wish all you Saban lovers would get it over with and put a Tide box and TP on your head and quit pretending you're LSU fans rather than Saban fans.
Miles is a good coach but I think there are a number of coaches out there who could have come in and got the job done.
Yes, you are lucky that you didn't get flamed to oblivion. I asked a simple question about Miles Saturday night and got negative karma out the yen/yang, hence my beautiful red star. Know this about this board, you can state your opinion and ask any question........as long as it not negative against THE COACH. :dis:
LSU has all the ingredients to be a top program year in and year out. Surely if a Butch Davis or a Del Rio or anyone like that were here I think we would have the same results.
Where at? I used to live in Muscatine. Anywhere near there? Now back to the discussion. Les is 28-5 in his 1st 2.5 years at LSU. Including an SECC appearance, 1 bowl win over Miami and 1 BCS bowl win over ND. Since he's obviously more qualified than me to say who's better for the job at LSU... i'll leave game day decisions to him.
The members are kinda leery of newly registered members who criticize. We get a lot of people who register just to create controversy but if you hang out a while, get a feel of things and establish some legitimacy, you can earn more latitude with the board, overall. Hopefully you're not one of those persons who's always negative though. We have this one guy, goes by the name SabanFan, and he's pretty outspoken about his feelings toward our coaches/team.
