I KNOW RECENTLY LES MILES HAS BEEN GIVEN ALOT OF CREDIT FOR HIS COACHING ABILITIES, I.E. THE FLORIDA GAME, BUT HOW MUCH OF OUR RECENT SUCCESS, POST SABAN, IS CREDITED TO LES, OUR COORDINATORS, OR JUST THE LIGHTS OUT TALENT WE RECRUIT. I HAVE TO ADMIT I HAVE QUESTIONED HIS ABILITY SINCE HE HAS BEEN HERE. I'M NOT TRYING TO BELITTLE MILES JUST LOOKING FOR OPINIONS.:geauxtige
Why are you yelling at us? :bncry: Seriously, a mixture of all three (Les, Coordinators, Talent) can be credited. Which pretty much means a lot can be credited to the head coach, as he selects the coordinators, gives them room to do their jobs, and recruits the talent. :thumb:
Don't care how nice your car is, it must have a driver. Team = car Talent = horsepower Coach = driver. Look at the record since CLM arrived. There's the answer. ldskule:
someone have some tylenol.. I have a headache after all the hollering. CAPS LOCK is your friend.:thumb:
How much would he be blamed if we were 3-4 right now? That's attributed to him as well. As far as "Coaching", he's accomplished a lot- no other coach has compiled the records he has, to now (# wins/loses per games) in the SEC. No other coach at LSU has beaten AU, Alabama, and Florida in the same year. He'll have to win an SEC Championship at minimal for ALL to REALLY be sold on him, and possibly a NC for a smaller, but substantial number of our fans. If I had a criticism it would be: 1/ TOO loyal to Sr. players. I understand the premise and when all else is equal, no problem but have to put the BEST out there. Didn't last year with JV and I believe Hestor got too many carries last weekend for being hurt, when Scott was hot.
that's a good point. that's why i credit all of saban's wins this year to shula and all his losses to saban.
Sorry about the caps, not a computer savvy guy. My first time posting anything. Anyway yeah I know Miles is a good coach I just wanted some opinions. Thanks
