I've been too busy today to check out the site...but I've got to say, this thread is pathetic! We laugh at the gumps over giving Nick a statue just three years into his tenure. Why would we even discuss doing that now?

I'd vote a big NO to a statue of CLM while he is a) still our coach and/or b) still able to fog a mirror. Doing the Saban thing with a statue is cheesy, IMHO. It's idol worship & LSU should be above that. The effin' gumps are not! It's like carving & planting your own gravestone years before you plan to occupy the space! Everything in its own good time. Please!
You do know why they put those "Do not feed the bears" signs up in those parks right? Treat this in the same way. You may really regret asking that clown to open up.
