OK, I didn't know we had a Cowboy on here.

You know your coach better than I do. I can see that you feel strongly about him. Are your feelings shared by most of the other OSU Cowboy fans?

 

He is loved in Stillwater, and hated in Norman. That's all that matters.

 

I know the answer, Les Miles. You're kidding yourself if you think OU wouldn't rule the SEC also.

 

Thanks for the info. As you can tell from some of my previous posts I wasn't exactly thrilled at the rumor. But as I said elsewhere, if it turns about to be fact I'm a Tiger first and I'll be behind him 100%.

 

Actually, given that we're 1 year removed from a National Championship, in our 4th New Year's Day bowl in a row, and the fact that Skip had said that some big names were interested, I was expecting someone a little bit better than a middle of the pack Big 12 coach whom very few people around here had ever heard of.

If you want to know who I like now, although I wasn't really sold on him at first, the more I hear his name mentioned, the better I like Jack Del Rio.

If Les Miles is hired, I will support him, because I really have no other choice.
But he'll be on a short leash w/ me, criticism-wise. Right off the bat, this business of bringing in Dauterive w/ RP, if true, stinks to high heaven. can you imagine Saban making that deal?

This process is getting uglier and more sophomoric with every passing day.

If I can barely believe LSU would hire Miles, I can't believe at all that they'd pay a million bucks for the right to do so.

 

And I am still waiting to see who else you wanted.....Del Rio I got....but I am just trying to figure out how people want a bigger name when none were available.

Are you freaking kidding? Please start running him down more. Like I said, we don't want him to go. I seriously think we will return to the 2-9, 3-8 years if Les leaves right now. He hasn't got it to the point where it can survive without him yet. We all know he will not be here forever, most of us would like at least 2-3 more seasons of what he's been doing. Then if he chooses to leave, we will be in much better shape.
