not to continue to argue, and sorry about the idiot remark...but Weems, Emmert and Dean were the ones to fly to the meeting with Saban and Sexton. The BOS as a whole may want more control but I know for a fact that Weems wants what is best for LSU.

Also interesting to note that you mentioned RP - MikeS last night gave an update where he said both Miles and Petrino called Ryan's coach to discuss the job, and he also mentioned his source said an LSU official talked to Ryan's coach and asked him if Ryan would be available to meet their new head coach on Monday. Said he would be a guy who Ryan could 'get along with'...he's a 'player's coach'. Miles certainly qualifies as that.

One last thing, Miles is recruiting a few players that we are also following...and those players have OSU high on their list. Miles could probably get all those kids to come to LSU if he chose to pursue them (don't know about his feelings in that regard).

Also interesting to see that the ones who were disappointed with this hire are the exact same ones who are still bashing him today..while the ones who supported the hire or chose to give him a chance from day 1 are still supporting him. Opinions are hard to change, and even harder to erase from a forum database!

you are dead on. Initially, I supported him, but felt we could of made a better hire. You right, the miles lovers still love miles and the bashers are still bashing.

Nice to see him get openly angry over mistakes and turnovers. We're used to seeing this from NS, hence the mostly positive response to his post-game comments regarding "getting this thing fixed."
