1. Let me first start off by saying, I received my first negative rep by talking about the hire of Les Miles as coach. While I was not happy with the hire at the time, he is now the coach of LSU. All this talk about fire Les, fire Bo is utterly ridiculous and a complete waste of time. He is now the coach and will be for 3 years come hell or high water - get used to it. Everyone has the right to criticize (and should by the way) the coaching of the "The Debacle Game", however calling for a coaches head after 2 games is ludicrous. People want to talk about how he his hurting the long term success of the program. Changing coaches twice in two season will kill this program for years to come. Does anybody really think a topflight coach will come to your program with only one year to prove yourself? I know everyone is disappointed but the time for firing rants has passed. Like Saban always said "Its time to move on, aight".

Heres to every one taking a deep breath and taking a step back to realize the season is no where near being over. The SEC West is ours for the taking. We can compete with anyone. Once Les gets a normal game week preparation and settles into a groove everything will be OK.

    :lsup:LSU!LSU! GO TIGERS
  2. Those that really and truely want any of our coaches fired (and I'll admit that I've said some negative things about Pellini following the performance vs ASU), but for those that want coaches fired now, they don't understand that if you fire them NOW, then we're in WORSE shape because what "top notch" assistant coach are we going to find during the first week of Oct.--during mid-season???

  3. JT Curtis! :hihi: :hihi:
  4. I hear Nessie Pierce is available....
  5. What about Larry Dautrieve. He would surely start #11.
  6. Maybe not.... Saban did sign Rohan when he had the chance... You never know.
  7. I disagree. Its not the same as firing 2 coaches. Saban left by choice so I dont think it would kill this program to get a name coach in here. IMO if a quality coach comes available skip would be a fool if he dont extend the offer.
  8. While I am disappointed in the coaching so far, I do not believe firing anyone after two weeks is an adult response. LSU would look like a bunch of knee jerk children. If I were a quality coach and looked at that event, I would not be overjoyed at working with those folks.

Depending on the record this year, at the end of the season, you can assess things with more facts.

We will not have a losing season. We have enough talent to beat most teams on the schedule. My prediction was 9-2, and it is still possible. Even at 7-4, I don't think Miles gets fired, although Pellini may.

I think Miles is back for a second season, and we see where we are after that.
  9. 7-4 with this talent is beyond pathetic.
  10. Have to agree with your entire post houtiger. Miles is here for a while so let's hope he and his staff pull it together.
