My friend who coaches the d-line at Captain Shreve said Mingo was one of the fastest kids they played against all year, I think he'll keep that speed with however much weight and muscle he gains.
Yeah I just get a little giddy for him to be at around 250-260 and still have 4.5ish speed. Lord help the offensive tackle.
I just had a idea...We could use Mingo on a triple option set, and do that inside pitch, like UF did with Teblow and Sancho there TE. Mingo would probably smoke half the Linebackers he faced, with a 10 yard head of steam.
Official visit this weekend to LSU. Probably won't commit publicly but could easily give a silent commit to Les Miles.
Had a great visit this weekend and still considered a huge leader for his services. Based on his news star quotes from yesterday, he stock by his word and did not commit this weekend but is getting tired of the recruiting process. Expect him to go on one more visit next weekend to Bama and cancel his trip to UConn scheduled for the following week.
What is the latest scoop on Mingo? How was his visit? Is he all but LSU at this point? Thanks :thumb:
