Is there a way to download and save videos from youtube now? I know you used to not be able to.

 

Not easily. I suggest signing up for an account & just using the favorites feature.

 

You can download them from Google video fairly easily. But I'm not sure if this video was uploaded to Google. Since Google bought Youtube I think more people have been only uploading to Youtube.

You just accidentally copied the embedded URL instead of the direct URL. They are right next to each other.
