1. trust me Jv is working his ass off this summer and is in great shape. And it was him writing that too.
  2. Why are people surprised that athletes period go out and party? I mean every year, there are incidents of athletes getting arrested at parties or bars. Football season is a grind and you have to have some kind of way to unwind from the workouts, traveling, and practices just like you party after exams or major projects. I wish people would stop freaking out about it. If JV is "partying too much" and not training enough, he won't play as much.

I think even the players on the Longhorns team and every other team both college and professional partyduring the season. It's called R&R.
People should spend more time being critical of our government and real issues instead of social habits of athletes.
  3. Because people forget that these athletes are college students too, and just like all of us do/did, they go out.

Sometimes, there's too many lofty expectations on some of these student athletes by the fans.
  4. Don't post anything about this topic on Tigerdroppings....they already deleted one thread.
  5. I don't ever visit Tigerdroppings. I visit TigerForums and TigerBait....But the only reason I really go to TigerBait is for the recruiting updates...
  6. There's no way to know if that's really him, so we shouldn't assume that it is. Anyone could have written that.
  7. It's definitely him. As Crawfish said, he used his mom's Rivals account to post it. Everyone on the board knows that its JV's mom Lilly's account so unless she is fooling everyone, it's JV..

    On a side note:

The guy who runs TigerBait is pissed that someone copy and pasted the post. I simply referenced it and talked about it and they are pissed about that too. I couldn't give a **** because there is nothing illegal that I did, but I wouldn't copy and paste anything from over there because Mike S. said somethign about legal action...Just letting everyone know.
  8. I'm sure that our athletes read these posts.

It was not immature of JV to defend himself; it was his right to do so. My father was a football coach for 30 years, and while my mom and I let many of the criticisms we heard over the years go in one ear and out the other, there were times when we vocally defended my dad. Being in the public eye makes one generate a thick skin, but there are limits for everyone.

And, yes, I went out when I was at LSU, too. I used to see Shaq at some of the places I went--ooh, shock, horror...
  9. Well to whoever is pissed, get over it. :hihi:
  10. Like I said, I don't give a ****. But just wanted to pass on to whoever copy and pasted the thing that Mike S was speaking of legal action to whoever did it again...
