Did JV get any carries tonight? If he did I missed 'em. Great win, I'm so wired I won't be able to get to sleep until next Thursday!

No and it makes me sad. I'm heartbroken by what has happened to JV. Damn he looked so good last year. Those feet!

He's only a sophmore, he'll get his chance again just like MR.
I was disappointed AB didn't get more carries against a tired Florida D the
second half but I'll take the win anyway we can get them but I'm going
to a doctor if we have another like this one or the OSU game.

He's just a Soph and should get plenty chances to show his stuff.

I agree with ya. I just think the other back are looking stronger right now and the coaches have to stick with the hot hands.

JV will have his time, he's proven he can play. His patience will pay off.

Still, no carries at all from your 1000-yard rusher who was MVP of both championship games? He's in Nicks doghouse for some reason.

The 'problem' with JV is not JV, it is our O-line. The way he runs he needs to get good first contact blocks so he can cut and slither through. Last year, the O-Line was playing very good and giving him enough room to make cuts. This year, defenses are penetrating more, so he ends up having to bounce it outside ..and when he does that he hesitates on making decisions.

The reason AB and JA are doing so well is that they don't hesitate. They either crash through the slim holes and bull through or when the do bounce outside they 'take it to the D' for after contact yards. I like JV, but always figured he was no better/worse than the others.

Vincent had one carry ... zero yardage

The OL is picking up performance ... Vincent needs to do the same ... rumors are he's playing hurt and is tentative to hit the hole ... it's a long season, he'll be back for the stretch ... you can't keep a good tiger down for long

Here we go, another player gets axed. in a forum. :dis:
I guess he is just al washed up like marcus was :dis:

I don't suppose Coach may be keeping him on the bench in an effort to teach him that if you fumble you ride the pine? maybe? who knows, ask CNS.

His abilities didn't go anywhere, he is still the same YOUNG talented back he always was. Have you noticed we have depth at RB? :dis:

keep watching he may pop up in the end zone anytime! :hihi:
