If McMillan is our #1 are we doomed? He looked clearly better. What the hell has Brennan been working on?
If the story I read is accurate Raising Cane chicken fingers and pizza. Maybe he still had some of the grease on his fingers yesterday.
Spring game guys a glorified scrimmage. Brennan is better than he looked yesterday and IMHO he didn't look that bad. JM looked good glad we have him and if he is the starter good to know we have Brennan if JM gets hurt. However QB recruiting better be put in hyperdrive for the next 2 years as we still dont seem to have a can't miss QB on campus yet.
I think we have 3 QBs who could start at over 60% of CFB teams. This QB race isn't over. All 3 had a TD. I am not rooting for any of them, let the best one get the job. I think we can win with all of them.
Brennan has the arm and can make all the throws even if he didn't show it yesterday. But the other 2 are better runners than him. Narcisse is a better runner than McMillan but McMillan at this point is a better passer than Narcisse. My own preference in a QB is one who is a great passer and can make things happen with his feet if he is forced to. I don't know how good Brennan is at scrambling and buying time or running in a RPO situation. If McMillan can improve his arm strength and accuracy he could be the man.
Brennan had some of the best looking passes and the worst. LN is huge and had some nice ones too. All three looked better than Etling IMO. WRs a plenty and Clyde looks like a good SEC back.
Tae Provens didn't have that many carries but he played like he had something to prove. I can't wait until fall to see how the guy they call Beast Mode looks when he gets here.
