Right now, I have to agree with VBall, here. (and I don't ALWAYS do that!):hihi: Our guys have to prove it on the field this year before we can boast too much. Kieland had a great second half last year, and Hester was a very consistent producer, but neither compared to McFadden and Jones. We have a good GROUP of RB's, but no ONE standout...yet.
I think she was just saying their running backs would likely be considered as good as or better than ours...not that their team would be better than ours...or that their RB's would be better than our DEFENSE. She is correct in what she said. For that matter, Ronnie Brown and Cadillac Williams were better than our top two RB's back then, too...just not good enough to beat our team.
McFadden and Jones are the equivalent to Colt Brennan.. very good players who are a product of a system...
Molarky...or however you spell that word that means bullshet. McFadden and Jones...even Brennan for that matter...would be good in any system...as long as it was a FOOTBALL system.
