None of us KNOW anything about the situation. None of us see practice everyday. None of us are in the film sessions. None of us are in the classrooms. None of us are in the locker room. Speculation, rumors, and word of mouth are all any of us have, which doesn't amount to sh*t. Oh, we also have film of both qb's.

Before the season started, Jordan Jefferson was the starting quarterback. Jarrett Lee was his backup. The backup came in for the starter and performed beautifully until the starter came back. This is football. The job was JJ's from jump. Every other football team has their clear cut starter, and when he goes down, someone takes his place....UNTIL....the starter returns. That's it, "discussion" over. Kill thread.

I thought about that before posting, and it makes sense, but, if Tom Brady got suspended for 2 games for kicking an opponent on the ground, and his backup went undefeated during that time, does Tom Brady lose his starting position permanently? I think not. We got small doses of Jefferson here and there once he came back, getting himself re-acclimated and up to speed, probably knowing the entire time he'd be starting again, and I'd bet everyone on the team knew this, including Lee.
you are right, my bad, they were reduced. even still, Jefferson gives this team a better opportunity to win against Alabama. And if Lee can't handle that, I suggest he have a chat with TC McCartney, and be thankful he got to play when he did.
When NFL players get suspended, no matter the reason, they cannot be in the facilities or do anything team related. So yes, they're closer to being the same than being different.
