To answer your first question, no. Flynn did NOT mentally check out. You see, THAT'S the difference in Flynn and Lee. It must be !!! It makes no difference what you or I say do say or even think. Les knows what the sports writers know . That is JJ is not the better QB . JJ most of the time is confused , and against a team like Bama. Who can and will hang in there for 60 minuites like LSU can and will do. JJ will have problems . Pressure is on it's way . And then you and I can come back in and know what the sports writers know . If I had a friend here in Nashville and he told me that his son had a choice to play football as a QB , for LSU and he is white . I would tell my friend , Go back and look into why the Mannings went out of state , one to a team he knew would not win . Instead of playing football for LSU . They to grew up LSU fans .That is where you will find your answer , and what this is all about . He could manage this team as QB as good maybe better than either JJ or J Lee . He has the speed , he has the legs , and you can see him thinking as he is running up and down the field . It has nothing to do with "SKIN TONE " but that is the underlying reason for half of the post in this the TIGER FANS.COM JJ and J Lee will not be a factor in this game as far as a positive effect on the game . This isn't just message board banter. Hell, there's been articles in the media about it already. It's pretty well known, but Miles and Lee won't touch it with a 10 ft pole, so those who wish to believe Miles is a hypocrit and a big bad meanie think there's no truth to it. Miles also doesn't say who's hurt, or how bad. So I guess y'all expected to see Eric Reid against Arky too. In fact, I know you did...because we had this discussion about that too. Miles and Reid said it was nothing, so y'all didn't believe when a couple on here said it was worse than being reported. This is no different.
Name me a QB with a better record against Bama than JJ in the last few years...say, since God Saban got there. And to say Miles has taken a hit since the Bama win is crazy! LSU put up two 500 yd performances since then, and one bad offensive half...(REAL bad) in a 32 pt blowout against a top 10 team. Les is COY. He's taken no hits.
then i am sure you will want to change your stance of wanting lsu to lose the title game. after all, the more successful athletics is, the more revenue they will generate. and the more revenue, the more they will have to give to academics. what is good for athletics at lsu is good for academics. and surely, being the academian you are, you wouldnt want academics to suffer just to satisfy your own personal desire to see the coach you dont like fail.
