Look, Les picked JJ because he thinks JJ is the better package. He's 13-0 this year picking QBs, so don't question a thing he does. Sure JJ struggled against Georgia, but even though Lee holds the record as one of the most efficient passers in the SEC this year, he did throw two picks against Bama and a bunch in his RS freshman year. Being that Les is 13-0 no one has a right to a contrary opinion. Of course, no one would have that right if he were 7-5 because we need to circle the wagons.

So basically, everyone with an opinion that doesn't fall in line with Miles, shut it down. We're going to a no spin, Miles love-fest zone on this board! Lee is lucky that he stuck it out through minimal playing time and watching from the sidelines through years of terrible offense. He got to play this season for a while, which should be good enough, because Les rightly believes that JJ is the better package. Hell, Les wasn't even going to let him play against Arkansas on senior day, Lee better be grateful that our D got a turnover. And don't worry about intentional grounding from JJ, that's all a tactic. Lee, you're lucky that Miles even cares enough to say that we'll probably see you when the proper time presents itself (if LSU is going to kneel at the end of the game).

In Les we trust for all things! I'll be tuning in to get my attitude adjusted just as soon as I can!

You know, maybe Lee is having off field issues and Les is dealing with that appropriately (even then, really, really debateable). But the way QB has been handled, I think this just fits in the pattern of poor use of QBs.

I'm thrilled to be 13-0, I'm glad to have Les as our coach. I often don't get the man, so I guess he keeps you on your toes. But I am (and others are) going to have opinions that sometimes deviate from Coach Miles. This QB thing really rubs me the wrong way.

Maybe it is as simple as the fact that JJ gives us an extra possibility of getting a first down with his scrambling abilities. Against great D's like GA and Bama, every single first down is important.

It is funny that nobody worries about all the other second stringers that get no playing time, only the QB's.

unless its 100% a facade (which I doubt) I have the feeling that southerntgr is the type of woman who would come up to you, tell you exactly how she felt and if you wanted to start ****, she would beat the crap out of you.

As far as JL, I really wish I just knew. I know Miles doesnt have to tell us, but it would be nice to know what happened to make JL fall so far.

JJ ... I like JJ, I think he was a kid who got in trouble and I do think he took it one step too far, but you know what? Anyone else in that same situation would have already had it cleared, bar fights happen and the only reason his got blown out of porportion is because he's a big time football player.

As far as JJ's skills, he definitely gives us the added scrambling, and makes Bama plan for a running QB which is good. But his short game accuracy is atrocious, and frankly it scares the **** out of me.

Is any other position as painfully obvious? QB is the most popular position, so of course it's going to get attention, but come on now. No first downs in first half, 30 yards in a game. Come come.

I've said it before, Miles has admitted that he prefers a mobile QB. I question that when we've got the RBs that we do. A QB who can throw opens things up for the RBs who run for a living and wear down a D rather than JJ pussy footin around and avoiding contact.

One of the benefits is that the DLinemen have to run laterally, but Bama's D is going to take away JJs ability to throw, confuse him, and mostly contain the edges.

    I'd play both QBs.

There is someone on this board that can back that statement up. I will leave that up to that person if he/she is willing to do so.

Yes, that was sarcasm. And I can vouch for this chick - she don't bite her tongue for nobody.
