    happy

No, I'm not happy. I have a bit more loyalty than you apparently. Lee got us to where we are today and it's toally forgotten. No game or any ranking is worth what Miles did to Lee. JJ is nothing more than a street thug who can't pass or lead a team. Lucky for him our special teams unit can score better than him. For my money, JJ should go back to jail where he belongs and Lee should be given the respect he deserves.

You are incorrect that Jarrett Lee "got us to where we are today." Football is a team sport. Lee played well for several games and is due credit for his contribution to the team. That said, Jefferson stepped into the Alabama game and played solid. Jefferson is not an NFL QB in my opinion but it is obvious that he is viewed as the leader more so than Lee. To call Jefferson a street thug is probably the most telling portion of your post because it is far more reflective of who you are. Lot's of guys get into bar fights in college but that doesn't make them "street thugs." It makes them college students who haven't matured enough to quell their impulse to pummel guys like the Lowery kid. You nor I were present for the incident and since the charges continue to be reduced I can only assume that the prosecutions case is falling apart. Les Miles is our coach and I trust his judgement. If he were not a fair man he would have lost the respect of this team a long time ago. There is more to this than any of us know so we just need to trust the guy.....geez

omg..really???? Lee did it to himself by throwing two interceptions and then looking like a deer in the headlights after that...JJ is not a thug, I know him personally and he is a sweet kid and he and the whole team were out that night and when someone does to you what that guy did to him and he defends himself, he is a street thug...before you start saying crap like that..make sure you know who you are talking about.

no one has said lee didnt do good for this team, but when he messed up he lost his confidence and jordan came in and played...and yes he doesnt play to his potential, but neither do a lot of people...

these are kids and we are supposed to be adults and we have all made mistakes in our life...get over it

I am going to go with you on a one thing. JJ is not a thug. I know where he grew up. But I am not team JJ.

You know if Lee would have played like JJ played against Ga, not even being able to make a 1st down in a whole half, his a$$ would have been benched a long time ago. Hopefully, he won't play that way against bama.

As far as the bar fight goes I don't know what happen. IF he did kick that dude in the head then yes, he should be in jail. Once you are down you are out. Fight fair. But since I don't know the facts I wouldn't comment.

    That's ridiculous.

    a) NOBODY has said Lee doesn't deserve our respect and appreciation for his SIGNIFICANT contributions this season. He did well stepping up when called upon and led the team in some tough games.

    b) JJ is not a thug and should certainly not be in jail. During that whole thing, LSU fans everywhere were saying how ridiculous it was that the media and cops blew that bar fight out of proportion. Lee stepped in during JJs suspension and played well, and when JJ's reinstated (rightfully so), he's a thug who should still be in jail??

    c) Lee needs to concentrate on his studies right now so he can be eligible to play at all in the BCSNCG. I'm pulling for him.
