    You're so correct!
I was waiting for them to interview JJ and have him declare how he had to take the team on his back for the win.
Please, they could take a student raffle and have a guest quarterback every Saturday and get thirty yards passing and zero first down. No excuse.

    Correction Stacey ...

I'd said, barring any good explanation.

If JJ replaced Lee because LesLuv ... then I stand by what I said.

If there is a valid explanation, something we don't know about, then it explains it. BUT .. ain't nobody going to convince me that JJ is a better QB than Lee, that JJ gives a better opportunity to win, .. should have started all these games in place of Lee, that Lee should not have had the opportunity to play some meaningful snaps in his last home game, or that he should not have been brought in in the SEC CG.

PURPLE TIGER HOPE is not a strategy!

Jefferson wasn't allowed to speak with the media until yesterday. Miles should've continued the ban until the season ends. It's embarrassing to listen to him. If you hadn't watched his performance (or lack thereof) you would think he was 24-30, 350 yards, and 4 TDs. The guy is in his own world.

Confidence is great but this guy really thinks he's a stud. He's clueless.

Follow your blockers...keep it simple...don't think for four more quarters and bring home another :crystal:.

If we have to rely on him being a true QB...uh oh!

What the hell makes you entitled to an explanation?? WTF is wrong with people??

Nobody is trying to convince you of anything. Nobody owes you that. You're a (sorry excuse for a) fan! You don't get to make decisions, because you have NO IDEA why decisions are made the way they are within the team.

You're really embarassing yourself and don't even know it.

All by itself, that's reason enough to not play him. Thing is, that ain't all there is!

    tigermark Rematches suck!

The B.S. is coming from you.

I did not see Lee being put in there and I saw LSU as a TEAM rack up 28 points on offense in the second half with JJ as the QB. You did not see Lee because he does not provide any other talents that would have helped last night. Their front 7 would have eaten him alive. I saw Miles AGAIN make the correct QB decisions as he has REPEATEDLY.

Sorry it was not pretty enough for you. But his decisions on the running plays (reading the D to know whether to hand it off or run it himself) is what helped win the game in the second half. That is his strength and it was ignored in the first half (for a reason that I don' t know enough about football to understand). I know that it is not exactly fashionable, but there is more to being a QB than throwing accurate passes every single play. He was ice cold in the first half and the O-line was horrible. Miles saw what the problems were and decided it was not JJ. We came out of the half and ran a very different set of running plays and JJ lead the team to victory. It happened to be on the ground and not in the air. Whether it fits your little soap opera view of the world or not, it is what it is.

As far as Lee going down hill when JJ got back, I am glad to know that you agree that Lee is a head case.

JJ not having to prove anything is completely wrong. He had EVERYTHING to prove and had to work as the back-up for quite a while even though he was the superior choice at QB. But JJ is tough and is not as much of a head case.

You don't seem over it. We are 13-0. We put up 28 points on offense because Miles stuck with the QB that he thought could win the game. He put faith in JJ and JJ came through.

You don't understand much about football and at the same time you are so completely arrogant about assuming you know more than Miles. You are blind to the fact that you are a FAN on the outside looking in. Sorry that this has come to a personal attack, but I am tired of reading this drivel the day after our team goes 13-0. I am tired of the personal attacks against our coach when he has done NOTHING to deserve it.

Lee didnt go downhill, he threw a couple INT's Les took him out probably NOT as punishment but to give the offense an added dimension.. an extra set of legs to keep the D a bit more honest... Lee did NOT go downhill, in fact he should be the best LEE he can be with the added reps he has had. if called on we can count on him.

Lee is a good QB, he could start on alot of other teams, JJ is no Drew Brees. but he does have a bit more mobility and less perpensity to become a doe in headlights when the pressure is on. hence Miles plays the Qb that gives us the best shot..... they are BOTH going to make mistakes from time to time... LEE HAS.... and yes JJ has had some slow starts...

keeping the ball is a powerful argument.

Lee doesnt need to listen to dumbasses like you. You'd have him believing he isnt a part of this team, you like division, the team likes unity... Lee is fine you re the moron. Lee has and possibly will be a key contributor to what will eventually be the BCS champs for this season.... he should be and probably is very proud..

    Wow.

    Just, Wow.

I'm guessing your "inner sports child" must have some unresolved baggage to make a statement like this at one of the greatest periods in LSU football history.

Perhaps some lingering bitterness over having to "ride the pine" as a high school player?...or maybe something more simple, like being picked last for kickball?

    What's your story?

I hate to say it but just because something looks to be a certain way doesnt mean it is. I was actually wanting to see LEE also after so many 3 and out's by JJ but It could be that the style of defense we were playing with UGA, the coaches felt like JJ would do better.... for whatever reason.

I would have liked to see JL for one series anyway but thats just me. Maybe JL has a sore arm who knows.

    We won...
