1. There's absolutely no doubt at all that he has it in him.

  2. Yep the more and more I look back at some of the good he has brought this program, the more and more my confidence in him builds. He will face growing pains as most QB's do. I don’t expect to see Andrew Luck take the field for us on Saturday but Lee has the ability to have a great season and lead this team to a big victory on Saturday.

Just going back through you tube and looking at some of his highlights and remembering the huge plays he made down the stretch for us, he may not have the stats, but the 3rd and 4th down conversions, those are what I remember.

I am not going to be ignorant and block out all of his mistakes, and I am not just talking about the pick sixes, but other bad decisions I watched him make, I am also not going to be ignorant and be one of those fans that sits back and screams "oh know" every time I watch him throw the football.

I think we go in with a simple game plan at first, short pass plays to get Lee warmed up and up to speed. Get some confidence in him and confidence in the guys around him.
  3. Damn. Nice one!

Not necessarily "being scared", just playing smart and not taking too many bad chances. That's why I think he's still good for about 1 pick per game.
  4. I just don't see 1800 yards being nearly enough. That means we are still very much struggling in the passing game. 150 yards per is just not getting it done. Probably means we don't get the full effect of a potential punishing run game.
  5. I think as long as Krag & Stud are going to cater the game to Lee's strengths, he will be fine. He is not slow by any means, he has the ability to get out side and pick up big 1st downs rather than throwing the ball away.

I think you are right, as long as he doesnt attempt to force it, takes what the defense gives him, and and most importantly for him, gets his timimg down, he will be fine and a great game manager for us
  6. Is it possible that both of our QB (JL&JJ) just had too much to think about in Crowton's scheme? With all of the formations and checks he had, it would be difficult for a qb to look over the line and find his blitz and hot read receiver. It might go better for JL if all he has to do is concentrate on the play and execute. What say you?

  7. I think so, think about a 2 minute drill, thats basically what the QB is out there doing. Its your basic street football, "10 yards to the cadillac turn around and I'll throw it to you" - Concentrate on the play and execute - He did that very well when we needed him to last year, and was a huge reason we won 10 games.
  8. Possible, but he still needs to go through his progressions. I am a fan of the KISS principle, myself. Might work for him, too
  9. If Lee throws over 20 TD's this season it's going to be a special season in my opinion.
  10. So long as he is throwing them to our guys.
