this seems like a horrifying overreach of govt and privacy violation. looking at all these texts and such, from sean hannity etc? none of this needs investigation at all. just give the trespasses a tiket, some of them get a double ticket for smashing govt property, and get on with our lives, maybe even try to help people by reducing spending/inflation before it hurts black people and muslim trans folks more than it already has.
No I disagree, this is not a privacy violation. Sean, the other FOX news personalities, the Trump kids, and all the other Trump supporters weren't engaged in banal chit chatting with friends and family. They were pleading with the Presidents Chief of Staff during a national crisis for the President to get his head out of his ass and do something. These requests do not contain anything that can impact national security so there is no reason not to have transparency. OTHER than the fact that the revelation is embarrassing to everyone involved except Trump. He is apparently immune to embarrassment. And I think we should know when Trump runs again that he did his best Nero impersonation while the Capitol was being overrun and trashed.
