If the Dukes pull off the upset what does that do to the strength of schedule for Boise. It looks Va. Tech could lose this game

Depends. We have a lot of football left to play. If Virginia Tech can rally the troops, reel off a win streak, go 9-3 or 10-2, finish ACC champs and go to a BCS bowl, the season for VT (and the "signature win" for Boise State) can be salvaged, although some of the luster is definitely off. Michigan almost pulled it off after their embarrassing start in 2007. On the other hand, if this is the catalyst for a complete meltdown in Blacksburg, and the Hokies struggle to a 4-8 finish, then Boise State had better hope Oregon State wins the Pac-10.
Remember in the first game of 2007 when we beat the hell out of the Hokies and they wound up ranked ahead of us before the SECCG??? Anything can happen, and usually does. :geauxtige
