Although this is obviously tongue in cheek, I think there are gumps out there who perceive something very close to this as reality.
There is a segment of college football fans(regardless of team) that are not encumbered at all with any tidbit of reality.:lol: :lol:
Something like that is hard to quantify, because success in college football is relative. Texas was pitiful when Mack Brown took that job. He turned it around almost immediately and within three years made them into a perennial top 10 program. Yet until '05 there were many in Austin who were sick and tired of the coach who couldn't "win the big one". That's why I say I'll be happy if we see a well coached football team get better as the season goes along. If we start trying to throw out numbers as a standard of success then we're doomed.
Better be carefull, with level headed thinking like that, you'll get in trouble with the rest of the Bama fanbase
