If all it takes is talented players to make a winner, we will be soon talking about how great coach o is. He can recruit.

Now to make this an intelligent post:

    Twin primes are pairs of primesof the form ([IMG], [IMG]). The term "twin prime" was coined by Paul Stäckel (1862-1919; Tietze 1965, p. 19). The first few twin primes are [IMG] for [IMG], 6, 12, 18, 30, 42, 60, 72, 102, 108, 138, 150, 180, 192, 198, 228, 240, 270, 282, ... (Sloane's A014574). Explicitly, these are (3, 5), (5, 7), (11, 13), (17, 19), (29, 31), (41, 43), ... (Sloane's A001359 and A006512).

Ok - so twin primes, simply, are primes and the nearest greater prime - not all that complex.

So what are the practical applications?

Also - care to weigh in on the whole neutrino debate? I've heard some rumblings recently that the non-zero mass findgings from Super-Kamiokande in 98 might be challenged...

    What constitues bad coaching

    1. Calling fake punt out of own end zone
    2. Calling Time Outs in between quarters
    3. Running JV and leaving your best players on the bench
    4. Burning red shirts in 49-0 blowouts
    5. Not realizing when the announcers and entire stadium the opposing team is about to kick on onside kick
    6. Blowing 21 point leads at home when the crowd is insane behind you
    7. Almost losing to Ole Miss one of the worst teams in the SEc
    8. Somehow mustering 3 points at Auburn when Arkansas ran the score up
    9. Not preparing Perriloux when you are up 49-0
    10. Confusing play calling
    11. Waiting 9 games to realize KW is your best running back or Charles Scott yet insist on keeping them on the cooler.
    12. Not realizing your punt returner is horrible until game 7
    13. Utter failure in realizing where people need to be (See Saban with Spears)

So yes flame away, and for the record I have been asking for his firing from day one. So yeh drink the kool aid. Enjoy for me and I close my eyes at night praying this guy wont sink us where it takes years to recover.

So your right I am not calling for his head after this game, I was calling for his head when I heard "Your new head Coach Les Miles"
But we are not allowed to say anything negative about your hero Less Smiles here because you get called an idiot.
Different Minded people SHUT UP... Seems to be the MO here.

if you are talking about the fake punt in the AZST game, then you are misinformed as it is WELL documented that fake was not called by Miles, but was instead called by the punter on the field as our gunner was not being covered......but, as is popular, blame Miles.

Hester was not getting it done last night, AB has not gotten it done all season, and JV was running well. Scott and Williams may be injured - withhold judgement until you know. No college coach is under any obligation to notify anyone of injuries - this is not the NFL.

so you are saying the whole world new an onside kick was coming? :dis:

Ole Miss is a rivalry game, so it is no shock it was a close game. USC has almost lost a bunch of games to subpar teams this year, and did lose to Oregon State - but since you hate Miles you find reason to bash on this point. Would you hate Pete Carroll too? Since you are in Texas, do you hate Mack Brown for losing to KState last week?

Preparing Perriloux in blowout games? why are we even arguing this? Perriloux is obviously not where he should be in PRACTICE right now since he is 3rd string...........but you must have inside knowledge otherwise or think just because he was gifted in HS means that translates to the college game (see Reggie Bush in the NFL this year)

hey TT, if you don't like it, then leave man. If you have to search this hard for the negatives and dream at night about Saban coming back, then leave. A school that fires coaches who are considered successful (which Miles is in the college game) will have a hard time getting qualified applicants to come in - then you end up with your Dinardos and Hallmans. Miles has proven he can recruit - and he has proven he can win, not only at LSU but at a very average OKST where he was very disadvantaged in recruiting thanks to OU, Texas, A&M and the north powers. You are a perfect example of not being able to satisfy everyone.

"hey TT, if you don't like it, then leave man"

I have been a season ticket holder for 15 years TAF since it began, I was born and raised 10 miles from the stadium. As for Mack Brown and Texas, I could care less about Texas or Mack Brown. My media room is Purple and Gold, I have an LSU flag on the front of my house. Enjoy your Big 12 football, I will focus on LSU and the SEC.
So no I am not leaving.
It is perfectly Alright to have a differing opinion in this country. I happen to NOT like Les Miles as a coach, I think he is a horrible coach. I think he appears to be a nice guy, passionate. I am talking coaching here. That is my opinion, you have yours, I respect your opinion. YOu make good points. I just think we will soon roux the day Les Miles is our coach. I may and could be wrong. More likely I am I am wrong often, but this is college football and its a talking sport.
So thanks for the offer to leave, you enjoy Les Miles, I think its great he has passionate believers such as yourself. As for me I will kindly keep my season tickets, my 8 trips a year back home to BR to watch them and cheer the team while wondering why Les Miles makes the decision he does at time (like most in my section), and hope and pray I am wrong. Which I will be the first to admit if I am...
I dont want Saban to come back, I just want a coach who doesnt burn time outs between quarters "Allows" Punters to call fake punts out of endzones. Actually teaches players when they make mistakes (See Saban) instead of hugging them saying "It will be alright" and puts its best players on the field in a position to win. One day Talent can only take you so far, at some point you have to coach (See Auburn game, Florida game). Your right I am not at practice, I base on what I see in the game. When I see players perform and others not and those players are still taking snaps. They I say "miles is clueless" so your right I am baseing MY OPINION on what I see in the game. NOT in practice...

I am not saying you cannot have an opinion, and I respect yours too, but you are calling for a firing after less then 2 years - in which we have gone 20-4, been ranked in the Top 10 consistently, and had great recruiting classes. I am not sure what else you are wanting out of a head coach.......it is truly vexing. It is also disappointing that it seems some people are hoping and praying for him to fail just to say I told you so...like there are better options out there right now.

and so you know, I was being sarcastic when I told you to leave - just trying to hammer home a point.

im proud to say that im one of the few that knew your post is sarcastic

i do not think clm should go or that he is a bad coach, however, with respect to a point in your sarcastic post, Ohio St got rid of cooper only because he couldnt beat UM. he had an amazing record there, yet its fair to say that they are a better program now for the change. they would likely not have won the NC in 01 nor be set to win it this year. the thought process used in this decision made by Ohio St divides many fans at LSU and other top programs. i think neither side are stupid, just different.

Who said you can't say anything negative? Any of your negative posts deleted? It's a message board. You should expect to be challenged when you say something that is outside the norm. If that bothers you, then this is not a good place to be.

Who knows, you may be right in the end. But anyone suggesting this coach should be fired now just ain't living in the real world. It's all about wins and losses in this business. His record speaks for itself.

TexasTigers Are You With Me ?

Fair enough mequite.. I have been proven wrong more often then not, so maybe I am wrong on this one. I was asking for his firing two years ago.
Not just today. I just dont think he is a good coach. I think he is a very nice guy. But so was Gerry Dinardo.
I just want to see well coached games, and for me I havent really seen that out of him. I have seen really questionable games. I have seen some good ones as well.
If he beats Arkansas next week, I may reverse course on him. He has a tough battle ahead, a team with nothing to play for when it comes to titles.

Talent level each team is matched, since Arkansas was terrible last year, I argue to say LSU has more talent. Road game top 10 opponent.

This to me will be Les Miles biggest test, not for the fans who cares about us.
But for him and his team. If they can win up there. I will shut up for awhile (Just until the next loss ;-) )
And you know more then anything its NOT just wins and losses, its Progress, recruiting, keeping a good product on the field. Ole Miss firing Cutcliff was the dumbest thing I have ever seen. He was making great progress, Mack Brown almost got fired several times before last year, they hated him "Tabacco road con-man" they called him. And he was winning 10 games a year.

The problem with me (and many of us) is Saban gave us a taste of the fruit, now we wont take anything less. Possibly in hindsight a unrealistic appetitie. But its football, not life or our job. Its just a game. So its fun to argue. Its what makes the game what it is.
